It's not often I read something in a newspaper that makes me go hmmmmmmmmm.

The following is an excerpt from an on-line business magazine. The author is Jim Ziegler, a business columnist from DC.

I was inspired, I laughed....And I opened my eyes.....life is too short not to engage in life itself. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again waiting for something to change......

“Do you feel it? It’s coming back strong. Are you ready for it? Like a runaway freight train, you can go with it…get out of the way…or be run over by it. We’re all facing a series of difficult choices and they’re coming at you fast.

Here we are – so many of us have been hunkering down, laying low, storing up our acorns, and waiting for the storm to pass.

Cut to the bone, running lean and mean, we’ve become masters of expense control; we’ve all seen our friends fall…there are weeds growing through the asphalt of dead empires as the retail landscape changed and then changed again.

There’s been nowhere to turn and no safe haven in a perfect storm. Take no risks, circle the wagons…for most of us the goal has simply been to survive and still be standing on the other side of the crisis.

Well, excuse me! There’s a rainbow in the sky if you’ll just stick your head out and take a peek. Or, some of you will just sit it out and not participate just in case there’s another storm coming up. Let’s wait and see? I haven’t time for those who elect non-action as their course of action…whether it’s out of fear and lack of confidence.

Maybe you don’t know it yet, but if you’ve got that losing attitude, you’re road kill anyway. There’s a new day dawning and it’s all about attitude. Are you winning? Or are you still wimping and whining about what was and now isn’t? So what…get over it already, we’ve got business to do.

My affirmation rap goes like this…

It’s about re-creation, education, evolution, revolution, transformation, information, meditation, charging into the future without hesitation. I have no fear. I will not fail. I am the ultimate Alpha dog, up every morning awake, aware, alert, alive…ready to do business…energized, spiritualized, magnetized, baptized in the waters of successful thinking. I am ready to face this day with enthusiasm and a superior winning attitude.”

WOW was that wonderful to read again, feel free to copy and take with you and share...

On a short note Happy Thanksgiving, the year is almost over and if you have read my blog before.... It's been a hell of a year and I have a lot to be thankful for....thank God it’s coming to an end, ha!ha!ha!

Oh ya I forgot, Happy 20th Birthday Stadia, it was October 10, 1989 that we opened..... "I feel all grown up"! We are renovating our look at the office; we bought a couple more pink trucks for the fleet.....

Can't wait for the snow to fly, me and the kids have our snow boards waxed and ready to go.....

Before I sign off I want to extend my prayers to one of my field techs who has recently had some challenges beyond his control. I want him to know that we're all thinking of him and we care....and remember life is a gift, live each day to the most....
